My name is Daniela Segovia Arias. I was born in Durban, South Africa on April 13th, 1992. My dad is an Orthopedic Surgeon and finished his studies at Nelson Mandela School of Medicine. I was born very premature, before 26 weeks of pregnancy, therefore I spent about two months in an incubator. Though I was born there, I came to Paraguay when I was four years old and have lived here since then. I have two brothers, Lucas, who is 18 years old, and Rafael, who is 10 years old. I have been to three different bilingual schools in Paraguay, the first one called American School of Asuncion, which I left in second grade, the second one Asuncion Christian Academy, a Christian School which I attended till ninth grade, and the third, where I finished high school, Saint Andrew’s College. I am currently studying Economics at the Catholic University here in Asuncion, Paraguay. I’m graduating at the end of 2016. I’m currently working part time at the Foundation Transformation Paraguay. My previous job experience was as a substitute teacher at the Christian School I attended, “Asuncion Christian Academy”. I met Mike and Jacki Poulin last year in December when we had dinner with my parents and them for Jacki’s birthday. I look forward to being part of this roundtable training since both Mike and Jacki have been part of a very important process of personal growth in my life that has been going on for the last couple of months.
