I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. I attended Vanderbilt University and majored in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Marketing. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted to do with my life so I picked a little bit of everything!
My first job after college was working at an interior design firm. After not finding a lot of fulfillment in this path, I happened to cross paths with the University of Kentucky Women’s Basketball Head Coach Matthew Mitchell. He, his wife Jenna, and I came together and launched the Mitchell Family Foundation. Basketball is EVERYTHING in Kentucky so we used Matthew’s platform to launch the MFF with a mission of cultivating strong character in Lexington (and eventually beyond). We are doing this through programming (i.e. Anti-Virus Character Values), hosting fundraisers, and supporting non-profits that align with our mission.
Outside of work, I am an avid sports fan. I love Kentucky basketball! I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, working out, and am a self-proclaimed “foodie”.
