Born in 1957 in El Carmen in La Union. He emigrated to the United States in 1986 and joined the 2.5 million Salvadorans living in that country. His unexpected departure of El Salvador was because he had been mistaken for another person who was “doomed” to be killed by death squads.
In 1990, after 4 years of working as a salesman, Josue founded The Empre sa Rio Grande in Washington D.C which begins distribution of food products into Latin America. In 1996 Josue began production in El Salvador, with six employees in Santa Tecla. Today it employs 400 workers at its factory in San Martin, and another 250 in its agricultural operations in the department of La Paz, which produces in El Salvador for exporting into the United States and Canada
