I graduated from the University of Upper Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management. I have over 25 years of leadership and leadership development experience, with a retail background. I joined the John Maxwell Team in 2013 and since then have added multiple other specialties. I am a licensed Think Buzan instructor for mind mapping, and have a certification in the Human Behavior Model. In addition to creating my own training content, I add new tools to my toolbox consistently through out the year in an effort to better serve my clients.
Throughout my career I have worked for some amazing leaders and some really bad diminishers. I realized after traveling to Paraguay and experiencing values based leadership training, that values based leadership has always been the difference maker in those experiences. I am passionate about teaching values based leadership because I have seen first hand the difference it makes in an organization of any size and type. I believe the future of any organization or country is going to be dependent on the ability of it’s leaders to connect on a values based level with those around them. It breaks down barriers of all types, whether it be age, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender. Values based leadership is the common ground people can connect on.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I have an amazing husband that I have spent the last 20 years with. We share an 8 year old son that is driven to serve and set an example as a leader for others and a 4 year old daughter that wants to be a rock star, doctor, teacher and mom all while leading the world. My family fills my life with humor and compassion, making everyday unique!
