César Solórzano is a marketing professional with more than 12 years of experience. He began his career in Procter & Gamble in 2003, and has worked on marketing roles of increasing responsibility in Latin America in Frito Lay, Johnson & Johnson, Anheuser & Bush, and CBC, Pepsico’s main bottler for Central America, the Caribbean, Peru and Ecuador. Mr. Solórzano has managed global brands such as Lay´s, Doritos, Budweiser, and Pepsi in his current role. He has done business in Venezuela, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. His areas of skills include, strategy development, and strategic planning, brand architecture, innovation development and launch, brand building, new business incubation and development, cross functional and cross cultural team leading. Mr. Solórzano graduated Summa Cum Laude as an Industrial Engineering at Rafael Landívar University in Guatemala, where he served as student representative in the University’s executive board. He also holds an MBA degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business in Tulane University, where he majored in finance, and minored in international business, while served in the school’s entrepreneurs club, and Graduate business council, as alumni affairs and career development chair. He is married and lives in Guatemala with his wife Isabel.
