Bonnie LaPointe

Bonnie Lapointe is Canadian of Scottish heritage (née MacLeod). As her father served in the Canadian Air Force, Bonnie experienced living in Europe and in various locations in Canada. As a young adult she settled in Victoria BC where she studied computer science at the University of Victoria. She moved to Vancouver to be with her husband Pierre. They have two adult children Philippe and Marie-Catherine.
Bonnie had a very successful sales career in enterprise level computer systems before co-founding MacLap Holdings Inc with her husband in 1989. MacLap Holdings Inc is involved in the fields of e-commerce, training, and consulting. As part of her work Bonnie has developed expertise in nutrition. She has also been a public speaker on the topic of personal development to audiences across North America.
Bonnie is a connector of people and a relational leader. She is a people-centered person who thrives when mentoring people, especially young women. She has served and supported many community organizations including Women of Influence, Dress for Success, Room to Read, and the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. She has also been a member of a Planned Life Advocacy Network for a handicapped nephew for over 20 years.
